It is really great experience in my life. Mustang is very remote district of our country, Nepal. If time would rotate its clock to two to three years before, people would have to walk to go to the see the beauty of mustang. But at this time bus and jeep runs on gravel road of it. When i land on the land of jomsom, i feel greatly cold. I saw mountains on both side ,in front of me there is high hills with no trees at all, and between them kaligandaki river is flowing with making sound indicating the existence of it.
I think it is the place where heaven directly come into the earth and stop at this place.And God shiva is dancing his nritya 'tandap', river flow from the mountain as if it is orignating from the jatta of shiva. I sometimes even saturated with drinking the direct water flowing from himalayas, dont even eat rice. And sometime i reject rice for having many bites of apple which i directly picked from the tree of it.
It is really good to have some puff of cigarettes with marpha and wuwa. Marpha and wuwa are some brand of whiskey that are popular in mustang. Also there is great experience of walking for many hours alone in the road when there is no-one coming and going in the road. There is always confusing sound coming from the high hill beside the road which sounds like sound of river flowing beside the another side of road.
I think you would never had seen the mountain in the south direction but scenarios is amazingly great in mustang....
